I decided to go with the Storm light-filtering double cell blinds and couldn’t be happier with them. I followed the company’s measuring instructions and got the perfect fit for an inside mount. You can see from the photos that they are white on the outside view and the storm color inside. I measured three times just to be sure and then followed the instructions. There are no strings or cords. They glide up easily and pull down easily with a clear plastic handle on the bottom. Hardware is included if you want to keep them down all the time, which I do not. Buy them, you won’t be disappointed.Update: I liked the way these blinds insulate so much, that I bought white ones for my living room and bedroom.

I absolutely love these blinds. We bought five of these originally and they were a perfect fit and look fantastic. They were a little tricky to install, but luckily my husband is good at figuring things out. We were also missing one of the end brackets, but that was not a huge deal.We got these two years ago and after about a year, we started to see a little wear and tear on the fabric near the piece that we use to raise and lower the blinds. Be very careful not to touch the fabric when raising and lowering them. The biggest issue we had began about 3-4 months ago. The right side of one of the blinds would no longer raise or lower. My husband tried to take it apart and was able to adjust it a little, but was not able to fix the issue. I ended up buying a replacement for this blind, as it would no longer go up all the way. The new blind that we received is constructed much differently than the original blinds. I assume that there was an issue with the originals and they redesigned them in between the time I bought the first blinds and when I purchased the replacement. It does appear to glide much easier.I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a stylish blind, but I was disappointed that it didn’t last longer. Hopefully the other four blinds will hold up.

We love these shades! They have let light in, yet keeps our RV cool on hot days & warm on cool days. I disliked the shades because they kept braking & the bolster boards with their silly curtains were dust collectors & too foo foo. They were easy to put up from the instructions, but we did have to space the middle brackets on the two larger dining shades that have three brackets instead of two, off the center because of the gear in the top of the bracket, which is in the center, too. The company has been quick in making the blinds & getting them to us quicker then we expected. Very cool! Our bedroom is next!

We are placing our 2nd order – last time we ordered for the downstairs and have been so happy with them, now we are purchasing for the upstairs. Great quality, lets light in, we got the white. Easy to install.

We received our 5 honeycomb shades today, just 10 days after ordering, and a day earlier than the first projected date in the range. First Rate Blinds contacted us very shortly after ordering to make sure about the measurements. We were replacing 2 levelors that were covering a sliding patio door, plus three windows on the west side of our kitchen/dining area that take a beating in the afternoon sun. The shades were easy to install, all you need is a screwdriver, a drill, a tape measure and a marking pen. They look great, only took about an hour to put up!One adjustment made, which my husband passed along to the supplier: I used a rat tail file to lengthen one of the mounting holes in each bracket in a forward/backward direction. When the installing the first set I was easily able to adjust in and out to align the blinds with the facing edges of the window box, and when installing the second set I could adjust it in and out to match the location of the first set. I was then able to lock them down with screws in the second mounting bracket holes.I found the forward/backward mounting hole direction very useful while the side-to-side orientation they come with is really unnecessary since the blinds are easily adjusted slightly side-to-side in the hangers after they’re installed.I will be ordering more when we replace the windows in our bedroom with a slider door and window this fall. Great product, great service.

I put my shades up today. Initially I was disappointed in that I believed I had ordered half up half down blinds and was anticipating that feature. My husband had these hanging in ten minutes without issue and they look amazing. My husband was skeptical about blinds but even he was impressed with how easy it was to get them up and how nice they look. We like a wide open window for a lot of natural light so I went with an inside mount. With them pushed all the way up you can’t even notice there is a blind there but they are perfect for blocking out the light at bedtime. We are so impressed we have decided to forget the half up half down feature and order these for our library as well. Great product with great service!
