- How to order: Each cellular shade is produced at the exact size your order. To order inside mount shades, it is important you order the shade width 1/4″ – 3/8” smaller than the actual window width. To order an outside mount, you can just order the size that covers the area you want to cover. Please refer to the how to measure and how to order illustrations.
- BlindsAvenue cellular shades are made of spun lace, non-woven fabric. 100% polyester. They are available in light filtering and blackout fabrics. Regular cordless shades and top-down bottom-up shades.
- BlindsAvenue cellular cordless operation allows you to not have to order the exact length of your window. For windows less than 48″ tall order the 48″ height. For windows between 48″ tall and 72″ tall order the 72″ length, you just simply lower the shade to the desired length.

Pros: They block the heat very well. 100% better than our old metal blinds. They are easy to install. My husband and I did it together but I could have done it myself. You will need a drill to screw into the wall or wood frame unless you are strong with a screwdriver. They came promptly and in perfect condition. Last year I ordered for another room and there were no instructions, they now come with instructions in each box.. They are contemporary and beautiful. I think they are reasonably priced – I am doing one room at a time as affordable. They stay clean – I have dark brown in one room and they have been up for over a year and are still pristine – they don’t seem to collect dust. I highly recommend these blinds.Cons: If you want to get picky, I guess you could say that they only come in two lengths, but that hasn’t bothered us at all and you cannot visibly see that they are not custom lengths. The widths are custom.

You can see what a difference the shades make in the photo! My windows get full sun, and you can see the side with the shade pulled down is pretty dark. They are lightweight but block the sun and will keep the room cooler. I love that I can push them up, out of the way, with no cords, to enjoy the view and access the deck. Pretty easy to install, these are “outside mount” into a metal frame.

Didn’t use this because a mistakenly ordered the wrong size but it seems like a good quality shade. It didn’t come with hanging instructions so I’m hoping my new one in the right size will show me how to hang it.

We recently bought a town home that had 9 windows all with metal mini blinds from the 90’s. I replaced all of them with these pleated shades. They are perfect in every way, easy to install, and look custom. The rooms with the blackout blinds really blackout. I had a situation with one shade. I sent an email to the company to explain the problem. They couldn’t have been nicer and I had a replacement shade within days. You won’t be disappointed with your purchase.Bit of advise: Measure and remeasure to get your exact fit.

I installed this product a few days ago. It does the job of blocking out light well. The product feels pretty well made and sturdy. It’s easy to pull the blinds down then push them back up, and honestly they look great.The install was easy with a power drill for an outside mount. As long as you follow their directions for outside mounting (getting one a couple inches larger than the window width) it will fit perfectly.
