   This will be my fourth beaded curtain. The first three were the cylindrical bamboo beads on wire, little wire pieces strung thru each bead and connected to the next. Love they way they look and sound, but I needed something sturdier for my high traffic doorway. The problem with the bamboo beads on wires is the little hooks at the bottom start getting caught on each other, and if you are walking thru and don’t realize it, you easily pull the whole strand off. Yes, you can repair it, but after a while it gets to be a pain and if your curtain has a design, it messes that up too. So, I took a chance on this curtain, because it is wood beads on one long string, which is how these curtains were made back in the olden days (1960s-70s) This curtain is not as dense as the bamboo curtains, but really none of them are totally opaque, and it is not as pleasant of a sound when the beads click together, but the reviews are excellent, and I decided to go for it.Came quickly and nicely packaged in a sturdy box. No broken pieces. Took me about 5 minutes to hang, I just pounded in a few nails and up it went. I got the tan and brown southwestern design, which is even, no mistakes in the pattern, and looks fine with my decor. I probably would have chosen one of the darker colors/designs, but this one was the only color that I would not have to wait too long for delivery. The only “defect” I noticed is that not all the strands are the same exact length at the bottom, but it is a handmade item and this does not affect the overall look. I like that the beads are squared off, so there are flat surfaces that catch the light and give it a little shine. It was easy to install and looks great. I am just hoping for some longevity, as I go in and out this door a few dozen times a day.As for my first impression, it is great! Also, a little card came with my curtain with the customer service info in case I have any issues…always nice when a company stands behind their product.Six months later….May 25, 2025This curtain has held up well. I see a little bit more string in between some of the beads, probably the string stretches a little over time, due to the weight of the beads, but it isn’t obvious unless you are really looking for it. Not one strand has fallen off, not one bead has broken, which is more than I can say for the bamboo curtains. Definitely impressed with the quality of this bearded curtain and can definitely recommend it!!

   Bought these for my teenage niece to provide some privacy when her bedroom door is open at family gatherings. While these beads are weighty, they have a classy appearance that blends nicely and is easy on the eyes. She says everyone compliments her on them, I definitely recommend!

   None of the sellers had more strands. Lovely and well made the beads did not give me the opaqueness I needed. I bought some inexpensive bulk ribbon and glue gunned strands in between beads. It looked even better.

   These beads are much more beautiful than I expected. I have them hung in the doorway where my living room enters the hallway. They are so thick and strung with large, shaped beads. I just cannot say enough about them. If I ever want or need another set, I will definitely buy these again. Different colors/styles are offered, but I just LOVE the deep blue, which matches my living room furniture and drapes.

   These beads were just what I was looking for. I paired these with a set of the Blue and black Mandela curtains. Curtains on the sides and the bead in the middle. It looks great!!

   I live in a mobil and hated those press board closet doors. I replaced them with these and am very pleased with the result/
