All I didn’t like is the tacky banding strings; it makes them look cheap and gaudy. And the stick-on hooks are a complete joke: they probably work on a much smaller blind, but I tried one just to see, and it pulled off the wall with 1/8 the weight of the blind, and pulled the paint off the wall. Half the stick-on hooks were broken when we opened the boxes, anyway. Use the metal hooks; they’re very easy to screw in.They provide a little privacy, which is all we wanted, and they still allow a lot of light to filter in. Don’t think they’re going to stop people seeing in, especially at night, if lights are on. But that’s not what they’re for; they just stop people seeing straight through our sun room and into our back yard all day. They really are a good deal, for the price.

I will say that these blinds are really durable and I love the color and the texture and the design definitely happy about that. They don’t hang up like regular blinds. They show you photos on how to hang it up on hooks if you want, but I believe that there are other ways to do it as well. Overall, these are pretty easy to Put together and they work nicely. I got them for my son‘s room and I will probably get a couple more sets.Again for what you get I think that it’s worth the money. They seem to be something that will last a while.I hope this review is helpful.

I got these shades for our outdoor gazebo. I like how they attach with hooks. No drilling or tying. I just slip my hooks over the top rail and hang this by the loops on the top. This provides us with some shade when the sun changes to a different angle. It’s really easy to slide since it’s put up with hooks. We like to roll it up when we’re not using. It draws up easily with a rope. It’s a tight enough weave to block a lot of sun. It says waterproof. But I will only be using it under a cover. So I can’t say anything about that feature.

Bamboo Roller Blinds Shades, Vertical Lifting and Breathable Waterproof Design, Sun Shade and Ventilation, Easy Installation,30″ Wx64 H. This roller blind was easy to install and works great to block out the light that was coming in the front window. I love that it gives me privacy but still lets a little light in .

We’ve all seen these before. The archetype has been around forever and basically Just Works.I like that this is much narrower and less heavy than the 6 foot-ish ones that are the usual suspects. That makes it more flexible in its usage. It comes with both screw-in mounts and adhesive ones. The adhesive mounts are not robust and came unglued after about a week. so plan accordingly and source better ones.Otherwise it’s quite nice on the porch.

These are beautifully made blinds, and the color variations are nice (vertical stripes). They are very easy to install, as long as you have a drill. Of course, you could do it without a drill, but boy would your wrists be sore. They work smoothly. My only issue with them is the apparent black hardware at the top. I have several other windows with a different brand of blinds, and they have a little valence flap at the top that hides the hardware.

Installation was super simple. The included threaded hooks screwed easily into the window frame behind the sheetrock (with a 1/16” pilot hole) very solidly. The draw cords were in quite a tangle when it arrived so we had to figure out how they were supposed to be routed mainly by looking at the photos in the instructions. Speaking of, the instructions were pretty good at describing the installation and operation but most of that was fairly intuitive (except for the aforementioned cord routing). Anyway, back to the routing, each cord wraps from the top pully all the way around the bottom dowel and back up the rear of the pulley bracket where it attaches.I don’t think I fully appreciated the operation of these blinds from the listing but I really like how they work. When the cord is pulled, the cords that wrap under the blinds actually roll them up as the cord shortens. Super old school, which is the way I like it. There is also a knurled catch inside the main pulley which traps the cord if it is moved to the right while lowering. This way you can set it to the height you want.Probably our favorite feature is the spacing on the blind sections. They are close enough together to block most of the light coming in but open enough to see what’s happening outside. They also block the interior of the house from prying eyes outside as well. Finally, they just look cool! The bamboo material coupled with the darker accents spaced across the blinds really provide a homey feel.
