Ordered two rolls and it worked great for the French door windows! Needed about 8 ft, I messed up my measurements with about 3 of my cuts and still had enough. ? Make a stencil it will help! Sprayed soapy water on window, placed sticker vinyl, used a shower squeegee to push out the soapy water and a towel to wipe the soapy water away. Adds so much detail to the room and privacy to this door!!

I like this product ? It Looks pretty when the light shines through. Applying isn’t bad if you know some techniques. It Makes a high end look affordable and easy to remove with no damage if you rent. The only complaint I have is that they only offer one size. The roll wasn’t wide enough to cover the window, so I cut another piece to make shift it. I taped it down because it was a small piece and is easier to come up.But overall I like this as no one can see me from the outside (I checked) It offers privacy because I have to roll up my blinds due to my portable a/c ???

Seriously beautiful! High quality appearance and you really can’t see through it! You can detect movement, but nothing refined. I recommend buying a window film application kit in advance. Also have an area set out with good straight edge you can use as a guide. Honestly pretty easy to mess up the cut so be careful and take it slow.

Every window in my house is covered with artscape for the past 20 years .I don’t like curtains or mini blinds . I love stained glass and have done stained glass work , but to do 14 windows in my house would cost thousands and thousands of dollars . Back 20 years ago , when I did all the windows, I wasn’t happy with one of the patterns. I wanted dogwood for my living room but by the time I had saved up to get enough rolls, it was discontinued. So I got Magnolia , but it wasn’t right , colors were too dark for the colors I had decorated the room with . I just bought STAR Magnolia and redid all my living room windows. It’s lighter and perfect. It reminds me of the dogwood. I also got Trellis for my bathroom , which I LOVE. An order of Lattice is coming for me to redo my bedroom. I had Wisteria on them for 20 years and loved it but want a change . I will be ordering the frosted diamond to redo my kitchen windows . My son’s bedroom windows now have Montage . Artcapes website says you only have 2 weeks to remove and reposition , but the film I had on for 20 years , I just removed some and put on another window till my next order arrives . It went on just as easy as the day I bought it and it has stayed up fine . One reason I wanted to redo all my windows ( besides a change ) was because of one problem . 20 years ago I did not have the money to by one roll per pane of glass , so I pieced sheets together. They went together perfectly but over the years the sun caused the sheets to shrink a bit where they met . So I had 1/4 inch spaces showing clear glass and it bothered me . Each of my windows has a piece of glass at the top and a piece of glass at the bottom ( like all windows) This time I bought a roll per glass so there are no pieces pieced together . It was a bit pricey but I know they last 20 years for sure , so it’s worth the price . I’ve seen some reviews where they say it did not stay up and fell off . I can only think that they did not put the shiny side on the glass . They must have flipped it over and had it matte side down . It can’t stick that way . Overall, I love this product and know it is the best window film out there and the easiest to put on . I have tried cheaper brands that have adhesive and they are a PAIN to work with . All the 20 year old pieces I took off , I will be bringing to my sisters house to put on some of her windows …which makes me happy to know they won’t be wasted.

Measure carefully and cut accordingly. This will ensure an easy installation and a beautiful outcome. This is in a downstairs bathroom directly across from a neighbors back porch. Recent installation of hurricane rated windows obviated using the old blinds; This was a great substitute. Had the neighbors look over at night with the bathroom lights on. They liked it so much they are considering doing the same in one of their windows!

I ordered this film to cover a clear window in my front door which I didn’t care for.The negative reviews and high return rate gave me pause, but after reading the negative review it became apparent that people seemed to be basing their criticism on the fact that they were evidently expecting a longer roll than what they received, which is frankly on them, as the listing description accurately state the size of the product. As to the product itself, it is nice and thick, seems to be excellent quality, and was easy to work with in terms of trimming, removing the backing, and installing on the glass. It also includes instructions that are easy to understand for anyone who has never worked with this sort of material before. As you can see in my before and after photos, this product made a big difference in how my front door looks. We love it and I highly recommend it, especially for the great price.

The Artscape Star Magnolia Window Film that I applied yesterday seems to work pretty well. I was trying to find a pattern that didn’t repeat but would match up to the next section smoothly. This one worked out for the size and quality I was looking for and it wasn’t faded or thin. If you are looking for privacy this material only showed a faded cloud like blob when the mailman delivered the mail right behind it at our porch mailbox.
