   I’m an over the road driver and one of the many hazards we face are things that fly through our windows and windshields while we are going down the road. In my case I have a tractor that was equipped with inadequate tandem mud flaps. These mud flaps allows rocks that are thrown from the tires to reach the back of the tractor cab windows causing them to shatter on impact and blow out the window. After applying this product a few months ago. it finally happened a rock was thrown out from my tractor tires and hit the back window but this time the the window shattered in place and didn’t come out I was able to continue on my route of 512 miles with out having to fix nothing, this product kept everything in place. and saved me time and money. Before i would have had to go into breakdown mode and loose a lot of money just for a simple back window blowout. the Photos proves it

   I wanted to make my basement windows more secure- they’re small sliding windows. I figured a combination of sliding locks and this coating would be enough to motivate someone away from crawling through a broken window. Size- I had 6 windows (3 2-part windows) that measured 12×14.5″ each. I had just enough to do all windows fully.I followed the directions fully- cleaned, scraped with a razor, cleaned again, sprayed soapy water on the window and the coating, and then applied. Everything would squeegee out nicely, but as they dried small bubbles would form, especially on the edges. I would keep removing them and they’d keep reappearing. One window was covered in small dimples, the other had a lot of bubbles around the edges, and the 3rd looked ok except for a few spots.There’s no possible way you could do a larger window or door and have it come out perfect. Even a tiny spec of dust is going to leave a bubble. This reminds me of the plastic screen protectors for cell phones that just never went on without some bubbles.In the end, the coating did the job and I don’t really care about the bubbles since it’s a basement. But just be aware you might want to have it done professionally if it’s a window you look out of every day.

   We bought this product to put on the windows in our house. It’s an old house so it’s just single pain, very old glass (like 100 years they’re likely the original windows to the home). We also have a toddler that loves to toddle on our couch which due to the layout has to be in front of the biggest windows. I was skeptical of the efficiency of the film because it was incredibly easy to put on (even with the imperfections age has caused in the glass, I was able to do it by myself while the baby hung out), you make a mistake just pull up & try again, and the really reasonable price. If my glass didn’t have the imperfections, I don’t think you’d even be able to tell I had it applied.On to today, thank God for this product as my kiddo flopped on the couch and bashed his head on the window and it shattered! This could have been a tragic, horrifying, gory accident, but instead my little dude just looked at me and was unscathed! I had a minimal amount of glass to vaccuum where it pulled from the glazing. I was also able to remove the window by adding cling wrap to the unfilmed side without losing any shards! I am buying this product again for all my low windows and have suggested it to all my other friends who own pets and children!
