Beautifully Made Lighted Base. I am using this base to display my cracked colored glass spheres. Since theglass spheres roll off of the base easily, I fixed this problem using hot melt glue and washers. I marked where I needed to place the washers and glued them on the base. With hot melt glue, you can remelt the glue with a heat gun and reposition the washers where needed.

This is a nicely made display base for edge lighting of etched art glass or acrylic. It has just one light color setting which is a warm white and uses a USB power cord, but does not include the USB power adapter that you’ll need to plug it in.The slot in the top is 5.2mm wide according to the manufacturer, and that seems about right because it isn’t quite wide enough to hold the 6mm thick glass that I usually use when sand carving. I did manage to find a piece of sand-carved glass that was only 3mm thick to use for test purposes, but it was only 5″ x 7″, so didn’t begin to fill the 12″ long slot. It does serve to illustrate that the display works for illuminating sand-carved glass, though. I expect it would also work well for laser-etched acrylic.

This round colorful light display stand us great for taking videos of small items to showcase it at a 360 degree view. The lights makes items look even better.It’s nice that this can be used with batteries or with the provided charging cable. It’s also easy to use.

I got these for a custom acrylic sign to use at a book launch. They’re simple but elegant, unfinished wood with a USB powered light that can cycle through colors or stay on whatever color you like. Unpretentious but quite excellent for the task, with bright LEDs…what’s not to love?
