This bamboo blind appears to be well-made, was relatively easy to install, and looks great. I really like the natural look of the bamboo, and I feel good about using bamboo, rather than plastic or vinyl blinds, since bamboo is a renewable resource, and is biodegradable. This is a really classic look that suits my style, and I really like it, and would recommend these to others.

These say for indoors. I needed them for and outdoor pergola. We will see if they hold up over time but I love the design and the gold weave of the cords on the bamboo. So pretty.

This neatly covered our one bathroom window. The open structure has airflow (louvered windows always vent) but gives us privacy. There isn’t as much light as with our old sea-grass blind, but that broke down from the UV in an east-facing window after a mere eleven years. We think the bamboo will last longer and, frankly, the brilliant morning light can use more toning-down. Only summer will tell if it blocks more heat than the sea-grass did.It’s quite weighty, made primarily of 1.5mm thick slats, but I think I was expecting an overgrown placemat. The heavy eye-hooks they give for mounting seem fine.We can activate the louvers around it just fine, and neither the handle nor the clips holding the louvers hang up on it, which they did constantly with the sea-grass.The inclusion of the davit to wind excess control cord around was appreciated, just in that we didn’t have to make a wooden one.
