The blind looks great. I have another brand of zebra blind in my home and this looks very similar. It is not identical, but it is in a room with only one window, so it does not matter if it does not match perfectly. Installation is easy and pretty dummy proof. It only took about 10 minutes to install.I did have a couple issues with this item. The biggest issue is the mounting bracket. Every other zebra blind I have purchased has an adjustable mounting bracket. This allows the bracket to slide away from the wall to account for hanging over window trim. This item does not have that option. The bracket is one piece. Because of this, I had to attach to the trim. It was not the end of the world, but it does cause the bottom rail to hit the trim, as it is snugged up again the window.The second issue is the logo on the face of the top rail. For some reason, the manufacturers name is crooked and tapers off to the right. I thought it was just a sticker that could be removed, but it is not. It is a serious eyesore. I tried to pry the letters off, but they do not remove easily. Rather than risk scraping the head rail, I left it as is for now.Aside from those issues, this is a great option. It blocks out the light when shut, whilst allowing enough light when opened. The price is higher than the others I have bought, but only by about $10. Because of the higher price and logo, I will finish my home with the other option I have.

Not sure why I waited so long to pull the trigger on new blinds for my kitchen window. My over-excitable dog broke my existing blinds a couple years ago and I suppose I felt 1) intimidated about installing blinds myself and 2) didn’t want to fork out the dollars to have new ones professionally installed. Enter these zebra blinds! Follow the instructions for measuring and ordering the right size and you can’t go wrong. I didn’t actually install myself, my slightly more ‘handy’ friend did. But the process went smoothly and now I’m no longer staring at my neighbor’s bedroom window while drinking my morning coffee. Bliss! Recommend!

I’d been living with a broken faux 2″ wood window treatment for my front door for the past many months in frustration as I searched for what I would use to replace it. And I stumbled on these double layer blinds with customizable options offered to choose from. Ordered and it arrived within 2 days. I gathered up the necessary installation tools needed — a pencil, a measuring tape, a regular screwdriver and a cordless screwdriver and got to work. With some trepidation, I am not gifted with an engineering sort of brain, I got to work. My efforts to understand the directions that came with the package were insufficient. But I went onto the Amazon listing and watched the installation video about 10 times or more to get the little parts of the process that were mystifying to me. FINALLY, and after more time than I want to admit, I was successful and it was perfectly installed exactly where it needed to be to work. And I have to say, I LOVE this thing. Lightweight, attractive, easy to operate, and extremely functional. These all combined to make this a fantastic replacement and I hope to have it for many years to come. And I got a nice wave of happy joy juice that I did it with no help! I’ll probably be adding these shades to other windows that need covering over time.
