I am using these as closet doors, and they work and look exactly as I needed them to. They hold their pleats well, the grommets are solid, the magnets work really well, and they take up no space. I love them!

The fabric of this curtain is heavy and durable. The grommets are sturdy. The magnets are somewhat strong. However, the curtain is a little too small to fit the width of the doorway. The doorway is 36″ but this product says it’ll fit up to 37″ doorways with the pleats. You have to forcefully place the curtain’s magnets on the other magnets you secure to your door frame – they won’t just catch automatically because they aren’t strong enough for that, especially with the curtain being just barely the width of the door fully stretched out and pulling at the pleats.Though this curtain states it’s a blackout curtain, it’s marketed as a door curtain so light wouldn’t usually be most people’s concerns. I got this hoping it would be a thermal barrier between a drafty mud room and my kitchen. As I mentioned, the fabric is heavy and durable, but it doesn’t have a blackout/thermal liner like most curtains correctly marketed as such have. I do notice a temperature difference between my kitchen and when I walk into that mud room, though, so it does work okay in that sense. I just wonder if it would be even better if it had that lining, especially at this price.I didn’t put magnets on the door frame for the bottom magnets, to be sure the cats would have easy access to and from their litter boxes in the mud room. But it seems like they shouldn’t have too much trouble pushing the curtain aside to get through. I tried to get one of the cats to go into the mud room last night but he was being difficult after I tried to show him how to get through and it turned out he just wanted me to get him some milk lol Hopefully I’ll get to see the cats to pass through the doorway soon. If they’re too timid and won’t/can’t do it, I’ll report back and update this review.The curtain does have scalloped edges, which you can see in the second stock photo showing you a close-up of the magnet on the curtain. That scalloped edge taxes away a little of the luxury look, I think. Just a bit tacky. But the faux linen material does make the curtain look more high-end. It would just look a lot better if the curtain was hemmed instead, in my opinion.I’m mostly happy with this curtain. I just wish I could have tried out the bigger size (as this was an Amazon Vine Free Product). I’m going to use this curtain as it is for now, but if it doesn’t seem functional enough to regulate the temperature between rooms on the extremely cold and hot days, I’ll likely buy another curtain with the thermal/blackout lining since this product is on the higher end of the price scale for one curtain panel. For that, I’m deducting a star.If you just need this for privacy and want a luxury looking item, this would be a great choice. I do recommend going with the 60″ and passing on the 45″ curtain panel, though. Better to be too big than too small.
