So it does make having a back splash easier but it still takes a lot of work. Number one you need a tile cutter to cut it flat on one side to start. They interlock well but not always perfect. So there are gaps sometimes. Cutting the tiles in half was the hardest which was at the top. Then you need a border for locations that don’t end against the wall. Lastly you need spacers to push the outlets out farther from the wall to remain flush with the backsplash. It is absolutely gorgeous though and the wife loves it. I used flex seal and some rags and fills in some of the gaps between pages and the ledges overall it turned out really well. This was probably a two full day project but took much longer because I didn’t have the tools or sealant and we changed microwaves out.

You need the right size snipper on these, the one where the edges meet completely. If I had the proper tile cutter, the job would have been so much nicer. But it turned out ok with some caulk in the corner. Also am adding some stick-on molding around the top and sides before the sink goes in. Perfect backslash!Absolutely beautiful and gives the room a much needed boost of class.The one tile that arrived damaged, I used as a practice tile.

I wanted to add a little coastal touch to our fireplace and wow! Classy and elegant look, I’ve received so many compliments. We used a wet tile saw to cut for the edges and it wasn’t too difficult to install. Love it!
