For years I have been wrapping little strips of paper towel around the base of tapers because they don’t always fill the candle holder tight enough so that they stand straight. It was sometimes successful. But this year for my many Christmas candles I bought this Fox Run Stick-Um Candle Adhesive and now I no longer need the paper towel strips and my candles stand straighter than ever. It holds until you want to take them out, then they come out easily. I was worried about getting the adhesive on things – either squishing out of the holders or dropping some on my counter. But It comes off super easy – you just kind of roll it off and it leaves no residue. It’s looks and feels like a cross between rubber cement and old-fashioned paste that we used (a looong time ago) in grade school. It works great and the 2 oz. tub will last for years. Highly recommend.

If you use tapered candles this product is a must have. It helps the tapers “stick” and “stay” in place in the candle holders. Great value. Will last. Very long time.

It’s a little challenging to get out without getting it under your nails. I recommend using a spoon.
